Great Choice, you have chosen Truck with 10,000 lbs towing with 4 wheel Drive.
With 10,000 lbs towing capacity you can tow an Air stream even up to 30 feet but you need to consider payload.
Payload is the weigh of passage plus cargo not included a certain amount of fuel. You will need to account for 10% of the trailer weight as payload. So that mean about 1,000 pounds for the hitch weight and most truck will have leftover about 700 lbs with standard configuration.
Well the 700 pounds is if there are not any additional accessories. So I recommend a trailer about 7,000 lbs that can be loaded up to 10,000 lbs with all extra cargo in the trailer. Most of the airstream do start at a dry weight of 5,000 to 7,000 lbs any ways. So 10% of these would be respectively 500 to 700 pounds leaving enough room for passages and cargo. And the truck itself would like that it is not maximized in capability.
If you shopping for RVs always asked the gross vehicle weight rating and the dry weight, you can always fill up water or buy supplies at your vacation destination.
Now if you have a lot of mountains in your area and you have to tow a trailer up that mountain, I recommend a diesel truck. If your travel is alway flat then a regular gas truck will be more comfortable.
Diesel has more power and better fuel economy but it is more expensive at the pump. Gas is more economical at the pump and widely available.
Now if there's electric truck available and at this point in time there are a few:
Electric Truck range 300 miles without a trailer and 100 - 150 miles with trailer (depends in trailer)
Gas and Diesel from 400 to 500 miles range without a trailer and about half the range or more with a trailer.
Next Choices are click on one that fits you best:
