Tesla Benefits
Thank you for Visiting and Welcome to my blogspot
- This page talks about how much you can save on a long trip.
- You also found out a new way of saving a lot money on you daily commute.
- You also be driving a highly premium car than a Honda Pilot.
- A more premium vehicle than the Honda Pilot and at least the same performance would be even more expensive for daily commute and traveling.
What does that mean really?
Let take an example of Trip to Orlando Florida but in this case from Indianapolis.
Since I talk about Honda car more often than other vehicles and also assume traveling with room for six people.
2018 Honda Pilot VS 2018 Tesla Model X.

So traveling to Florida
Picture from Google Search.
Let assume that the Honda Pilot gets the best fuel economy from EPA 27 miles per gallon.
We have to travel 960 miles to get there.
On the Pilot you would have to pay for one way trip $107 to go there and another $107 for your return trip. We assume that gas price is as low as $3 per gallon. That is actually a great price to drive there and back for the total of $214.
Let assume that the Tesla Model X get 3 miles per KWh which would mean the consumption would be 320 KWh.
According to InsideEV, Max cost rates would be 24 cent per KWh if you have to pay. SuperCharger cost according to Tesla was raised to 24 cents for certain market. You would be paying about $76 for the one way trip and another $76 for the return trip. That means that you only pay a total of $152 for the total trip.
Five trips with Honda Pilot is $1070 of gas expense.
Five trips with Tesla Model X or S if you didn't use my referral code of any reason is $760.
Why I made the other calculation?
Well a good reason, if your electricity bill was 24 cent KWh, you would be saving close to or more than $300 per year if you only commute about 1,000 per month.
According to the Tesla forum utility only charges 12 cent per KWh in certain areas, then the savings is even better and that means you would save close to $600 per month. It does depends how you use your vehicle and other incentives in your area of the world.
So,
Benefit to you would be to save some money both on trips and daily commute.
