To understand any bias and favorites, here's a little background.
My background is in Sales of Auto Parts where I was driving VW Rabbit and upgraded to BMW X5. During that time we had a 325 and I went into selling cars we changed into a new BMW 3335i 2007 back in 2014. This vehicle is still running but more likely park as of now because we converted into electric car for our daily routine.
Since then I have work at a Honda, BMW store and Chevrolet store. Both great experience and each has some specific feature that people get attracted toward. Most of the questions are gear toward Needs and wants. Needs meaning the most important equipment and features that you would live without.
Since that list could be long and we don't enough pages and with enough time it might possible to come with 50% or less. That is because new car comes up with features that we didn't know we wanted. Some feature might be great for contractors and some might great for only day to day commute.
So my Bias may be a mixture of my experience with customers and also what I do like. I love technology and controlling aspect of the car or suv or truck with the phone. I would always for more feature reach vehicle that does fit most people even if they have the budget for it.
To some really smart people, they might just need a vehicle that can go to point A and Point B. That even when they know what is available. To some the feature may be connected to ease their travel and using the vehicle for a complex task.
So my choice of vehicle is going to have some features I love and would be mostly a standard feature that you have to pay for or add on the vehicle.
This is self guided and a way to filter out the choices that are in the market. There are so many transport vehicle variations. My hope is that I help you closer to your shopping experience.

What are you looking for?
Car---a Car can be a Sedan or Coupe or sport car. They are usually lower in the ground and offer the most mpg benefits.
SUV---a Sport Utility Vehicle can be a five seater, 6 seater, 7 seater with towing capability. Usually has a higher height clearance than a car. Possibilities are between cars and trucks.
Truck--- Mostly pick up truck and with several towing capability from a small pickup truck to towing fifhwheel travel trailer or horse trailer
