2019 Tesla Model X guesstometer differences

2019 Tesla Model X refresh which according to Tesla owner advisor is code name Raven.

I had the opportunity to test-drive a long range 2019 Tesla Model X. I used my 2016 Tesla Model X 90D with 22inch wheels with the same tire size tire of the front but heavier than the original.

My consumption is usually between 5% to 10% more than the original wheel.

Below are pictures showing a couple of snapshots for the 2019 Tesla Model X drive at 70 mph.

1. Initial start with miles left

2. Initial start with percentage of battery left that is amazing to me to be to show 36% with 117 miles left.

Trip meter reading from previous drive of 7.1 miles

The difference in the guesstometer or guesstimate the consumption of the new 2019 Tesla Model X. Here are a couple shots of the route from Sierra College to Penryn exist to Eurika exist and back to Tesla Rocklin Californial.

This shop was taken while driving south on I80 around rocklin but entered the interstate back again at the Penryn rd Penryn California.

The guesstomer reading above is completely amazing and reflexes very efficient reading. My point you may be able to get a lot better range than EPA.

The vehicle was driven about 7 miles before I got to drive it. That means the car was starting to warmup and the motors would be more efficient. If we kept driving, I believe the actual consumption would drop to 250 watt-hour per mile. If you multiply by the 300 miles it equals to 75 kilowatt-hour on a 100 kilowatt-hour battery.

We had to exist at Eurika and hammer back to get in the very left lane of the highway because of traffic conditions. Here is how it affected things.

I have changed the guesstometer to 15 miles reading.

Here is the consumption from my model X which I had to redo the test several times because of traffic to get it right with the same path.

My model X has the 22inch wheels which has a consumption between 5% to 10% more than the normal wheel. Here are the snapshots of those consumption on the same route.

The picture below is about the same distance as the way back from the Penryn exist and the guesstometer is about the 90 watts-hr per miles higher and cruising at 70 miles per hour.

Each trips was 15 to 16 miles driven.

The new 2019 Model X is a lot more efficient and potentially longer range than epa estimates.
